From the American Systematic Statistical Enterprise Services comes this quote:

The number of systems infected by the MSBlaster virus fell dramatically overnight. Most of the change comes from the Northeast United States. We can only assume that they have implemented the most extreme measures to combat the virus.

ASSES have their own website? I have seen a lot of asses with their own websites, but this looks serious.
Are you in the dark? Do you have electricity? Are people scrambling back to "dial-up" connections, opting out for fibre-optics? Do you think this blackout had anything to do at all with the virus? Personally, I'm linking it to the crop circles by Niagra Falls...
