Interesting ThoughtsWhat's For Lunch?
I've come to the conclusion that bloggers must have very boring food lives. Posting away each day about this, that, and the other thing but rarely ever mentioning what they are eating. Yes, Susan, there is that exciting blog about soup which today was discussing hummus. Witold Riedel posted about his post blackout culinary adventure with peanut butter and jelly. Of course I should talk. With Mrs Noded at Noded South, I've been indulging in turkey and roast beef sandwiches. Easy to make and I know how to order the meat at the deli counter.
So it is with great excitement that I mention a new "fast food" franchise in the Noded North area called "Noodles" which sells, well, noodles. I rather like the decor of the restaurants as they have a loft like ambiance with an open industrial like ceiling, polished cement floor, and real wood furniture. The other real thing is silverware. They actually give you a real bowl for your noodles and you can eat it with real silverware. Chop sticks are also available. The food is good. Try the Penne Rosa with or without chicken. Mac and Cheese is also available for the less adventurous bloggers.

I talk about the resturants I dine at around Chicago. Of course, I never specifically mention the food I eat at most of these places. I suppose I just think I'd bore people.

I would bore your readers, if I covered my poor dining habits. Never fear, I'm always interested in hearing about great barbecue joints. My choice is the Salt Lick. [www.saltlickbbq.net] http://www.saltlickbbq.net/
