As I do each day I head over to his site to get a dose of what is good for me. He points out that the FBI thinks local law enforcement officers should be looking for almanacs when making routine traffic stops. Seems that terrorists could use the tide charts for planning a large scale invasion of the local Dairy Queen. Hey FBI guys don't forget to detain anyone with a library card, you never know what you find in one of those places!

Disclaimer: I did buy the People Almanac 2004 as a Christmas gift for Mrs Noded. I had no idea at the time that I was committing such an un-American act. The Olsen Twins on the cover should have been a dead giveaway.
