PhotographyIt Never Rains At Noded North
May 10, 2004
Throughout the evening we were getting storm and flash flood warnings. The weather had been warm, in the low 80's all day. The wind and warmth had pulled the moisture from the ground into spring time clouds. As evening approached Mother Nature pointed out that after all, it was Mothers Day. As the sun descended there was blue sky to the west and a thick layer of clouds without features to the south of us. As the sun slipped below the horizon the clouds glowed with the reflection of the spring sunset. Once again the rains missed us.
