Everything ElseElectronic Suitcase
Packing for a one week trip from Noded North to South presented me with the seeds of a rant. See, I have enough in the way of clothes at Noded South to survive any summer month; shorts, a tee shirt or two, a change or two of underwear if I deem them necessary, and a golf shirt. I really don't need to pack a bag.
Or that's what I thought. I started pulling together the power cords for the equipment Mrs Noded and I travel with these days; rechargeable shaver, 2 cell phone recharger bases, the battery recharger for the D100, power bricks for the laptops. I needed a suitcase just for electronics.
As you land at Orlando Airport from the North you will see the Nuclear Power Plant out the left window. I have to call ahead and ask them to kick it up a notch each time I head for the state.
Now if I could just harness this cloud power..

I will pack a powerbrick for the laptop (which is itself a 9lb goliath), but I have decided that all the other devices must suck their power from the laptop. So I have a USB cable for the cell phone, and even a cool little USB charger for AA nimh. Slightly easier to organize.
