PhotographySunset While Moving
In one of my less brilliant moves grabbed this shot while crusing along the highway at 50 mph. Really, I only wandered a little bit and there wasn't that much traffic. Kids, don't try this at home.

Hmm, I'm starting to think that those people I think are driving crazy with the cellphone really have a camera.
It's a good sunset. Chicago? Where is the sunset?

You are not alone!
Using the Honda Accord "moon roof" I have been known to direct the camera upward or outward to capture sky shots. To the dismay of my son (he who complains about the permadirt on the windshield of the car) I have also shot straight ahead while driving.
I try not to be changing gears, talking on the cell phone, smoking a cigar or holding a soft drink while doing this . . . and driving at the same time. But must admit to sometimes doing some combination of the above, including snapping shots that seem appealing, during a drive.
