I'm under the impression that between now and next spring the weather will be a major topic of conversation. I present the following unscientific proof.

• I've spent way to much time this month looking at charts of hurricanes.
• The grass at Noded North is still green instead of burnt out brown in the middle of September.
• The squirrels around here are are sporting the latest in really fluffy tails as they chase after every last nut and berry.
• The Farmers Almanac is predicting a wetter than usual winter.
