There are some days when you are stuck in neutral: no going forward, no falling backwards. You get stuck in traffic but you just can't work up a good roadrage. Joe Pesci with long blond hair doesn't seem strange. Jackie Chan in a runaway tux makes you laugh but not out loud.

I would assume that for some people this is the way their lives play out, one neutral day after another. I thnk I can stand maybe two, three days tops, in neutral.
