How to confuse a Geek.

Harvey's Resort and Casinoand Harrah's Lake Tahoe were a nice venue for Gnomedex 4. While I did get asked if I wanted two double beds or a king size and smoking or non-smoking, they failed to mention that both handles on the sink in the bathroom were on the same side. I actually had to toss out a bit of code I was working on in my head to have room for the logic of which faucet was which.

Don't you just hate it when you get your knobs mixed up?

Once I passed the knob challenge, I had to deal with the-colors-were-reversed-on-the-knob challenge.

Ow.

Freaked me out too. It's so much fun brushing your teeth with hot water!

Yeah, that was kind of odd. I kept getting hot water when I wanted to splash with cold to keep awake...

I was going to look around for you since you are a Floridian too, maybe we ran into each other and I just didn't know. It was kind of wild.

Yeah, that was pretty bizarre looking, wasn't it? And it would've been really nice if there was a coffee machine in the room, too. And Housekeeping also forgot to leave me with any glasses on the second day. Good thing I still had my Google cup.

That is just weird looking.

Oh. So that's why I couldn't get any hot water. Hmm.
