Fall at Tahoe

Tahoe in early October is a place waiting for something to happen. There is an air of expectation, of returning chaos, the chaos of snow.

There is a calm to the employees at the casinos and the hotels that hinted that, while not empty, the number of customers was easy to handle.

Soon the rooms would be full, getting into the restaurants for breakfast would be next to impossible, and there would be ski’s everywhere. The shuttles to the resorts will be full of skiers spending their days paying to fall down the mountains returning at evening for gambling and libations. The employees seem anxious, ready for the real season at Tahoe to begin.

How lovely. I am assuming the nekkid parts are where the ski slopes magically form after the chaos of snow, strings together a gazillion unlike flakes into one soft, fuzzy blanket.

Looks steeeeeep. Like, mountain goat steep.
