Not sure who to blame on this one. When you buy a new Mac with Tiger or do a clean install of Tiger on an older machine you no longer get Stuffit Expander by default. So producing "Tiger Ready" software compressed to a .sit file is not really "Tiger Ready". This is a hint to the Windows Media Player people among others. In Tiger the default compressing format is ".zip".
