Everything ElseHundred Degrees In The Shade
I'm trying to get a handle on the concept that it will be 100 degrees F tomorrow here at NodedNorth. Last summer we did not have even one 90 degree day let alone anything approaching 100. I'm still holding out hope for a litlle golf tomorrow afternoon. Maybe the winds will make it doable. I doubt it.

It's 99 degrees at 6:03pm here in Chicagoland.
It's 12 degrees cooler in Gainesville, Florida- the armpit of the state, and 9 degrees cooler in Tucson, AZ.
Not to mention the brown lawn and the drooping fruit trees- my plum trees are losing their fruit because of the drought, and despite my weekly deep watering.
I never thought I'd say this in the middle of summer, but I'd rather be in Florida right now.....
