Loaded up Mrs. Noded's van and headed over to the bike path where it crosses the Fox River. You can count the number of times it has rained in the last two months around here on one hand with two fingers and a thumb left over.

The trees are giving up their leaves early this year; not enough moisture to keep the full crop going. Last year was different, next year will be too.
