Unclear On ConceptUn-Intelligent Design

September 02, 2005
Models predicted New Orleans disaster, experts say Virtually everything that has happened in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina struck was predicted by experts and in computer models, so emergency management specialists wonder why authorities were so unprepared.

They must have been off planning the forced introduction of "Intelligent Design" into school science curriculums.

Only a bit, Lucy? I have Snarkitis, brought on by repeated and obvious signs of corruption that never ceases.

I just heard a rumor that Halliburton (or: Brown, Kellog and Root) was just awarded the no-bid contract to rebuild the refineries and pipelines. That couldn't be, could it? Nah ... that couldn't be...

Oh, and that weapon he's talking about? The "worst kind of weapon you can imagine"? It's already way past the imagination stage. And some say there must be some kind of communications jamming going on so none of the phones will work, not even most of the satellite phones. Sounds like some kind of witchy warlock magic to me...gumbo brand voodoo with a nod to tesla. Maybe they were prepared. Maybe they just didn't react how we would have wanted them to. That would have required people with souls.

Halliburton, already on top of those rebuilding contracts. My, my ... He's something of a go-getter, ain't he? I bet his ma-maw is so proud.

"Hurricane Pam" was, I believe, the name of the model emergency run by LSU for Homeland Security. Quite simply, our government failed its citizens.

Maybe that was their 'design'.....poor, black, urban folk don't vote Republican, and look at all that lovely land that will be available after this to those who can afford it. Probably Halliburton will buy it with some of the Iraq contract money it can't find.

Sorry. Feeling a bit snarky these days.
