Everything ElseThe Paris, Germany, and Sacramento
I first came across Claude Covo-Farchi of Blogging In Paris earlier this year when Michele of Mandarin Design and I where riffing on how to build the CSS for the "Polaroid" like frame I put around pictures. Claude was and still is a frequent visitor to Mandarin Design. Claude has also been a prolific poster at Flickr. I feel that I've gotten a pretty exclusive and detailed tour of Paris from the almost 5000 photo's she has posted since January of this year. Her newest experiment is posting audio of each post on her blog in French. I don't know French but it sure makes me want to learn listening to what she has just written. Great stuff, both her blog an her Flickr sites are well worth visiting.
Another frequent visitor to Mandarin Design is Stu Savory who hangs out some where in the forests of Germany. Stu reports on the tragic loss of some vintage steam locomotives in a fire at the National German Museum this past Monday. I have a fondness for things railroad which I haven't indulged in recently but still it gets my attention once in a while. Last summer I visited a wonderful local rail museum that is only a few miles away from Noded North.
Michelle from Mandarin Design seems to be a common thread in the internationalization of Mr. Noded. And in one more fell swoop of of thoughts and patterns, Michelle lives in the city with one of the finest railway museum's I've ever visited , the California State Railroad Museum.
