- Travel Stuff: I spent the day at airports avoiding the $6.95 per day connect to the internet so I was stuck listening to the the Airport editions of the talking heads
readingshouting the news as though they were actually in danger of being swept away by tsumanis in Atlanta and what ever bunker Fox cablecasts from. If congress was really good they would have outlawed 24hr news channels long ago. - Bend Over And Kiss Your Ass Goodby Stuff: The Federal Government's plan for handling any pandemic is to point fingers and say it's not our fault now rather then waiting for people to actually start vomiting.
The report's big message: "Local communities will have to address the medical and nonmedical impacts of the pandemic with available resources." That's because the federal government won't be able to offer the kind of aid expected after hurricanes or other one-time, one-location natural disasters, it says. [Link]
