For some reason Movable Type has decided to corrupt itself in small ways that are making entry posting a bit of a hit or miss proposition. I'm not sure what is going on but it shows one of the weaknesses of runtime interpretation of source code. Of course a lot of the internet could be described as run from source. I think it's been close to 9 months since we've had any update to the current version of MT, beginning to feel abandoned. Change is possible, watch this space and maybe this one.
