Wow, four years ago, Stewart Butterfield was showing off his new beastie called Flickr at ETech 2003. I purchased my Pro account pretty early on, before they were bought by Yahoo. I remember seeing the smiling Stewart being non-commmittal about the purchase as he ran around getting the signoff from the original investors the next year, ETech 2004. If I recall they announced the purchase shortly there after.

I've just renewed my account for another 2 years. Flickr has been come a daily destination for me.
