Bought a new 15 inch Macbook Pro today, loaded it up with Leopard and I've got to say I love it. One of the first things I did was to load up the latest SpyderPro software and profiled the monitor. There must have be a lot of improvements to LCD screens over the last 3 years because it beats the pants off of the screen on Snidley the Powerbook/G4. There is so much more real estate on the 15 inch screen.

It's not throwing off as much heat as I expected. It's on my lap at the moment and I'm not feeling uncomfortable. So I've spent the evening setting this machine to function similarly to Snidely. Now I've got to pick a name for it. I think I'll sleep on it over night.
