Today I had to boot Mr. Peabody the Windows Machine to make a little money. I've been using Captain Peachfuzz the MacBook Pro all weekend. In one weekend I am spoiled by the new display. One day on the old laptop and I have a headache that just won't quit.

I have to admit that I was not real sure about the form factor of the new laptops with their 16:9 aspect ratios. I really do like it now. I used maximize most windows when working in the older format (aspect ratio 4:3) to be able to get good, readable text display. Right now I'm writing in a window that makes up only about half a screen using 1400x900 resolution. Of course his leaves a deskspace for me to launch a bunch of stuff that will pull my attention from what I am trying to write this post.

I've ordered a copy of Windows XP to load on this machine. I'm hoping I can get enough resolution out of XP to not give me any more headaches.
