Out Of ControlMiles Per Cow

May 12, 2008

Thinking about getting the Noded Mobiles converted to run on milk. I can buy a gallon of milk for $2.32 including tax. Just paid over $4.00 for gas. Wondering how many miles per cow is good. Not thinking too hard on it right now. As the price of gas goes throught the roof, the fuel cell cars become much more exceptable. Some day everyone will have small hydrogen factories in their garages that will produce the fuel for their fuel cell cars.

n essence, a fuel cell works by catalysis, separating the component electrons and protons of the reactant fuel, and forcing the electrons to travel though a circuit, hence converting them to electrical power. The catalyst is typically comprised of a platinum group metal or alloy. Another catalytic process takes the electrons back in, combining them with the protons and the oxidant to form waste products (typically simple compounds like water and carbon dioxide).

Of course by that time we may need to use something other than dollars as most of them will be salted away in banks in Dubai etc.
