Things You Can't Do With The InternetI Owe The World A Tree

I'm cleaning out my library of technical books before the move (which is coming up in a week). This pile is a whole bunch of books on techical subjects that are all so out of date the best thing to do is to recycle them. Anyone need a book on developing applications with Access 1.1? This stack may be the best argument yet for e-readers like the Kindle and others soon to come. Once you by a book you may read it once or twice. In some cases you may not even get through the book before becoming bored with it. It seems to be such a waste to have this dinosaurs hanging around taking up space.
I'm looking a few 250gig usb drives sitting on my desk that cost about the same as any two of the larger books in my pile. My guess it at most of that pile would fit on one of those drives. And I wouldn't be paying about $50 per hundred pounds to ship the to Florida. It seems to me we really need to get more digital with our reading. It makes a lot of sense in that the tree not cut down is there to provide us with air to breath.
Guess I should go plant a tree now.
