I'm watching Topper Returns on Turner Classic Movies. It was the last of the Topper movies made in 1941. A lot of the actors in this movie were in many of the "Madcap" comedies from the same time. When you think about the Thin Man, Topper and Charlie Chan series there hasn't been anything that matches for quite some time. I wonder why there hasn't been any remakes of these series (except for a Charlie Chan movie). I would love to see a remake of the Thin Man. I wonder who we could get to play Mr. and Mrs Charles?
