<![CDATA[<p>Thanks to <a href="http://dhd.discovery.com/" target="_blank">HD Theater</a> I've become addicted to the World Rally Championship know as <a href="http://www.wrc.com/index.jsp" target="_blank">WRC</a>. It' is probably the only type of racing that I don't think I would like to see live as it's mostly run on gravel roads in forests and in temperature extremes. You don't get to see a lot of the cars as they come flying by, nothing like an oval track.  But I do like to watch it on television. The television show does a good job of displaying the personalites of the drivers and team managers. The Mexico Rally is on HD Theater tonight at <a href="http://dhd.discovery.com/tv/world-rally-championship/about.html" target="_blank">10pm</a> eastern with a recap on Sunday night.</p>]]>

        <li><strong>Sun Stuff:</strong> It has be the 5th coldest winter on record at Noded South (maybe the first coldest since Noded South was founded). I finally had a warm enough day to wear shorts to the golf course. I think my knees are sun burned. </li>

Now Google and Popular Science have put all 137 years of Popular Science on line. Here is a <a href="http://books.google.com/books?id=KioDAAAAMBAJ&lpg=PP1&pg=PA132#v=onepage&q=&f=false" target="_blank">link</a> to a 1959 issue of the magazine found when I searched on air car. Sure enough some Doctor invented one and is featured in an article on "Cars Without Wheels".  Interesting to see how many of the features of the magazine are still familiar to me even if I haven't seen an issue for quite some time. It is also interesting to see the adds change as you scroll thru the pages.<br />
